| Contemporary Art Collector, Stuart Evans, became aware of Chris
Sharp's work in 2007. Stuart was particularly interested in the 2000 -
2006 series Passed as Present - Britain's Historical Re-enactors and
acquired photographs from this series for Simmons & Simmons and the
Lodeveans Collection. The exhibition Passed as Present 19 January - 13 April 2008 at York Art Gallery took its name from the Sharp series and showed international contemporary art from the Lodeveans Collection alongside a selection of work from York Art Gallery's remarkable collection of old and modern masters".
